Alumni are an important aspect to to the undergraduate chapter experience. They serve as mentors to the chapter and guide them through the challenges and difficult decisions current members must face. It is important that current members continue to maintain a connection with alumni and get them involved in the chapter.
We are developing initiatives that will improve alumni relations. We are creating a chapter newsletter to supplemant the Magazine of Sigma Chi that will inform alumni about events at the chapter. Also, we are improving our alumni network by enhancing communication among members. These initiatives will ensure that Iota Upsilon maintains a strong relationship with alumni and continues to thrive in the future.
Currently, out Housing Corporation is raising endowments to purchase a house, provide scholarships to undergraduate members, and fund leadership programs.
